Creepy, Spooky & Frightfully Fun | Stamp It Group Blog Hop

Well… apparently my craft room has decided we are celebrating Halloween. 😂

For someone who will happily skip right over Halloween and head straight for Christmas crafting, I have to admit… this one was actually FUN to make!

And honestly, my poor desk has had some serious seasonal whiplash lately.

• One minute we’re making Christmas projects.
• Then we’re doing fall.
• Then Halloween shows up.
• Then we’re back to Christmas.

My desk doesn’t know what season it is anymore. 😂

For this month’s Stamp It Group Blog Hop, we’re getting a little creepy, a little spooky, and a whole lot of Frightfully Fun!

🕷️ A Little Spooky Goes a Long Way

For today’s card, I pulled out the Frightfully Fun Suite Collection along with the Web of Fun Bundle and decided to lean into the eerie side of Halloween.

I wanted this card to feel a little more spooky and mysterious rather than cute and playful.

The layered trees, full moon, spiderwebs, and little flying bat all came together to create that creepy nighttime scene I had in my head.

And that big tree creeping up the right side of the card?

Definitely one of my favorite parts. 🖤

I added pops of Pumpkin Pie to frame the darker layers and bring in just enough color to make everything stand out. The black, gray, and orange combination gives the card that classic Halloween feel without going completely over the top.

Which, coming from someone who doesn’t usually gravitate toward Halloween projects, is probably a pretty big accomplishment. 😂

For today’s card, I pulled together some of my favorite pieces from the suite to create a fun autumn-themed design that is perfect for sending a little handmade happy mail this season.

🎃 A Little Bit of Creative Shenanigans

One of my favorite things about paper crafting is that sometimes you start with a theme that isn’t necessarily “your thing”…

…and then you start playing with the products and suddenly you’re completely invested.

That may have happened here. 😂

The Frightfully Fun Suite Collection made it really easy to create that eerie Halloween atmosphere, and the Web of Fun Bundle added those extra creepy details that pulled the whole card together.

And now I have to admit…

I might actually be a little excited about Halloween crafting.

Don’t tell Christmas.
