I’m not always the person who goes full-on pumpkin-spice-everything, but give me warm colors, cute critters, leaves, and a little paper crafting, and apparently I can get behind the whole autumn situation. 😂

For today’s card, I pulled together some of my favorite pieces from the suite to create a fun autumn-themed design that is perfect for sending a little handmade happy mail this season.

Let’s Make This Cute Autumn Card!

One of the things I love about using a suite collection is that so much of the coordinating work is already done for you. The colors, papers, images, and embellishments all play nicely together—which means I get to spend less time wondering, “Does this match?” and more time actually creating. 😂

For this card, I used the Silly Old Bear Suite Collection along with a few coordinating supplies to bring the autumn theme to life.

Measurements:

Early Espresso Card Base: 5-1/2” x 7” score at 4-1/4”, 2” x 2”
Mossy Meadow: 3” x 5-1/2”
Old Olive: 1” x 3”, 2” x 2”
Golden Glow: 2” x 2”
Pecan Pie: 2” x 2”
Cherry Cobbler: 2” x 2”
Silly Old Bear DSP: 3” x 4” (scene image), 4-1/8” x 5-3/8”, 2” x 6”
Basic White: 2-3/4” x 5-1/4”

Don’t Forget the Envelope! 🍂

I couldn’t leave the envelope plain, of course! 😂

I used Pecan Pie ink, a Blending Brush, and a piece of the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper to give the envelope a little extra personality.

By blending the Pecan Pie ink over the paper, it gave everything that wonderfully aged, old-envelope look that coordinates perfectly with the autumn feel of the card.

Such a simple little extra step, but I think it makes the whole project feel even more special!
