There’s something about this suite that instantly makes you smile.

Maybe it’s the sweet little bear, the cheerful colors, or the whimsical storybook feel—but from the moment I saw the Silly Old Bear Suite Collection, I knew it was one I wanted to spend some creative time with.

This project originally began as a live class… until the internet had a few ideas of its own! While technology didn’t quite cooperate the first time around, that certainly wasn’t going to stop us from creating together. Sometimes crafting—and life—requires a little flexibility, and this project is proof that it’s always worth trying again.

I’ll admit… this suite completely won me over.

It has that classic storybook charm that reminds us that handmade cards don’t always have to be fancy to be meaningful.

Sometimes a smiling little bear, a thoughtful sentiment, and a handmade touch are all it takes to brighten someone’s day.

And honestly… who doesn’t need a little extra happiness?

For this Craft Room Live, we’re creating a cheerful handmade card featuring the charming Silly Old Bear Suite Collection.

Whether you’re making cards for birthdays, thinking of you, friendship, or simply because someone could use a smile, this suite is full of sweet images and playful details that are sure to brighten someone’s day.

One of my favorite things about this collection is how easy it is to mix patterned paper, die cuts, and simple stamping to create cards that look detailed without being complicated.

Sometimes the sweetest cards really are the simplest ones.
