Thank you for joining me this evening for our Spring Fling Themed Blog Hop! I am excited to have you here!

My name is Mikki Winebrenner and I have a super fun 3D card for you this evening featuring Stampin’ Up!©️ Storybook Moments Suite Collection.

Be sure to drop a comment below for a chance to win a Stampin’ Up!©️ Painted Wishes Kit.

Saturday I introduced Stampin’ Up!’s Storybook Moments Suite to you and tonight I want to share with you a very cute and fun 3D card using that suite.

This card was inspired by Sam Calcott from Mixed Up Crafts. I follow her on YouTube and she has some pretty amazing cards over there. I wanted to give her Springy Pop-Up Bow Card a try and it turned out beautifully!

It’s a fairly easy card to put together but there are a lot of parts and pieces to give it it’s bounce. The card size is also bigger (5” x 7”) then our standard card size.

I do have a PDF for you with brief instructions and measurements that you can print or download later. For quick access here are the paper measurements.

MEASUREMENTS FOR THE PAPER ARE:

Mossy meadow 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 5” x 7” (x2), 1” x 1-1/2” (x2)

Lost Lagoon 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 5” x 6” (x2), 1” x 1-1/2” (x4)

Moody Mauve 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 5” x 5” (x2), 1” x 1-1/2” (x4), 1” x 2-1/4”

Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper: 2-1/8” x 4-5/8” (x2), 2-5/8” x 4-5/8” (x2), 1/2” x 2-1/8” (x2) and 3/4” x 7-1/4” strip for envelope

Timeless Plaid 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper: 3-5/8” x 4-5/8” (x2)

Basic White 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 2-1/8” x 4-5/8” (x2), scraps for stamping and cutting.

The only ink I used is Lost Lagoon and you will also need a blending brush!

THERE IS A FULL LIST OF PRODUCTS BELOW WITH LINKS AND PRODUCT NUMBERS

There is a ton of scoring about to happen with all that cardstock up there so if you have a Simply Scored board I highly recommend it for this, if not pop out that blade so you don’t grab the wrong one!

Now that’s out of the way, lets cut the angles of the cardstock and DSP.

Normally I would have a step by step write up with photos for you giving you all the details. We are gonna skip that this evening and once again take a leap of faith with a video! Remember there is a PDF available for download with measurements and written instructions.

Mailing tip for this particular card, I would recommend a bubble envelope for this because of it’s thickness. I would have gone up to visit my amazing Post Master (bless him, he has embraced my crazy with a smile! Love him!) to get an idea on cost for shipping BUT it’s freezing outside and I didn’t want to leave my house!

I hope I have inspired you with some warm spring thoughts and a super fun bouncy card for you to share with a loved one.

My Favorite Stampin Tools

1.Take Your Pick
144107s So many uses and attachments for this little tool that makes crafting so much easier! I have 3 currently in my tools drawer!
2.Stampin’ Glass Mat Studio (Imperial)
163987s This glass mat is amazing! I love that you can write on it, stamp on it and use it to line up paper. Easy to use and super easy to clean up when you’re all done!
3.Simply Scored
122334s The Simply Scored is in my top 5 because it make scoring easy when you’re doing a bunch of scoring at once or intricate score marks for a fold. Also saves you from cutting when wanting to score! The diagonal board is also super helpful when doing scores for envelopes and boxes.
4.Blending Brushes
153611s Oh my blending brushes. These little fellows are a blessing when it comes to adding color and making scenes! I could write an entire book on why you should have these in your tool bag!
5.Soft Pastels Assortment
154585s These are a sentimental favorite. I have been using soft pastels in art work since high school. They are a unique color tool that believe it or not has a lot of different uses and color techniques. If you want to explore coloring then grab a set of these!
