Welcome!
This evening I have a new suite collection for us to explore. Stampin’ Up!’s new Storybook Moments Suite Collection!

Stampin’ Up!©️ Storybook Moments Suite Collection is a very large suite! It consists of 2 complete stamp/die bundles, 2 designer series papers, pearls and ribbon. This suite can be found on my online store or in the January – April Mini Catalog, page 23.

A bonus with this collection, there is also a companion kit in the January Scrapbooking Brochure called Storybook Life Scrapbooking Workshop Kit. I will touch on this kit later in the series.
I have decided this will be a longer series – I’m thinking 6-8 parts (episodes, parts…I’m not sure how to word that). I will decide as we go along though. Again this is a massive suite and I have already planned 12-15 designs! I may even break the scrapbooking kit out into its own series. We will see what happens!
Enough of the boring! Let get to the fun!
**Due to rebuilding of blog I don’t have the step by step filled out in the photos. I am in the processes of creating a printable tutorial with all the steps you see above! Thank you for your patience as I get this up and going again!

Todays card I will be using everything in the Storybook Moments Suite except the Petal Pink 3/8” Scalloped Ribbon. Why you ask? Well because this genius forgot to order the ribbon! It would look funny on our card so it’s okay!
Starting with paper and colors:
Colors that I am using are: Pecan Pie 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock, Basic White 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock, Storybook Friends 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper and Timeless Plaid 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper.
I will be using Pebbled Path Classic Stampin Pad for stamping the sentiments. I did switch midway and use Memento Tuxedo Black for some of the stamping.

This card requires coloring. I am using Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Marker Combo Packs, I will list those in a second, Please use whatever your comfortable with or have. Alcohol markers, regular markers, crayons, pencils it really doesn’t matter.
Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs used: Gray Granite, Peach Pie, Granny Apple Green, Blackberry Bliss, Lemon Lime Twist, Crumb Cake and Boho Blue. I was going to add in some Petal Pink in the bunny ears but forgot.
Paper Sizes and scoring for the Card:
Pecan Pie 8-1/2 x 11” Cardstock: 4-1/4” x 5-1/2”, 3-3/4” x 4-3/4”, 3” x 3-1/2”
Storybook Friends 12” x 12” DSP: 4” x 5-1/4”, 2-3/4” x 4-1/2”

My Favorite Stampin Tools
1.Take Your Pick | |

So many uses and attachments for this little tool that makes crafting so much easier! I have 3 currently in my tools drawer! |
2.Stampin’ Glass Mat Studio (Imperial)

This glass mat is amazing! I love that you can write on it, stamp on it and use it to line up paper. Easy to use and super easy to clean up when you’re all done! |
3.Simply Scored | |

The Simply Scored is in my top 5 because it make scoring easy when you’re doing a bunch of scoring at once or intricate score marks for a fold. Also saves you from cutting when wanting to score! The diagonal board is also super helpful when doing scores for envelopes and boxes. |
4.Blending Brushes | |

Oh my blending brushes. These little fellows are a blessing when it comes to adding color and making scenes! I could write an entire book on why you should have these in your tool bag! |
5.Soft Pastels Assortment

These are a sentimental favorite. I have been using soft pastels in art work since high school. They are a unique color tool that believe it or not has a lot of different uses and color techniques. If you want to explore coloring then grab a set of these! |
