If you love making cards, learning new techniques, and hanging out with other crafty people, I have something fun coming your way!
Stampin’ Up! is celebrating World Card Making Day with a special two-day Virtual Card Retreat, and I think this is going to be such a fun way to spend a couple of crafty days!

The Stampin’ Up! Virtual Card Retreat
On October 1 and 2, you’ll have the opportunity to craft along with Stampin’ Up! staff as you create 15 beautiful, technique-focused cards using the 2026 October Card Retreat Kit.
And because we all know crafting is better with a little fun mixed in, there will be giveaways too!
Here are the details:
WHO: Crafters who love making cards—that’s you! And of course, grab a crafty friend and bring her along for the fun.
WHEN: October 1–2
We’ll be crafting for up to seven hours each day, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time both days.
WHERE: The retreat will take place in a private Facebook Group.
PRICE: The 2026 October Card Retreat Kit is $165.
AVAILABLE TO ORDER: Beginning September 1 in my online store.
Your Kit Is Your Ticket!
There is no separate registration for the Stampin’ Up! Virtual Card Retreat. Your purchase of the 2026 October Card Retreat Kit gives you access to the event.
Inside your kit, you’ll receive information with a personalized link to join the exclusive Facebook Group where the retreat will take place.
Two weeks before the retreat, the Facebook Group will include step-by-step instructions and a preparation video to help you get ready.
The live event and on-demand videos will also be available in the group, so you can enjoy the crafting experience even if you can’t sit and watch every minute live.
And let’s be honest… seven hours of crafting in one day may require snacks, coffee, and possibly stretchy pants. 😂
How to Join the Private Facebook Group
To be admitted into the retreat Facebook Group, you’ll need to complete the group admission form.
You’ll be asked to:
- Agree to the group rules
- Provide your name
- Provide the email address used when purchasing your kit
- Provide your 2026 October Card Retreat Kit order number from your confirmation email
This information allows the group administrator to verify your registration and give you access to the retreat.
But Wait… Why Stop After Two Days? 👀

Okay, now THIS is where things get really fun.
You can absolutely enjoy the Stampin’ Up! Virtual Card Retreat all on its own.
But if you’re already setting aside October 1 and 2 for crafting…
Why not keep the crafty fun going? 😂
